One of my friends has spent pretty much her whole life getting to know what the world is really like, she has lived in so many countries it's amazing. Well on Halloween Eve she is running in a half marathon to earn money to get clean water in Africa. PLEASE check out the link below and donate anything you can even a dollar helps. Thanks
I hope that you will join me in supporting Nancy's cause. Here is the link to the website where pledges are made: http://mycharitywater.org/p/campaign?campaign_id=8071

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Today is the day Canada celebrates Thanksgiving I am sure thankful I was born there and for all the parts of me that are "Canadian."

Friday Confessional
So I totally blog stalk the person we bought our house from, I kind of pretend we are bff because we could have been if I moved into someone else's house and we were neighbors. (and if I wasn't a chicken when it came to making friends-I hate imposing) But Geoff and Emmalee are friends with her in real life and so is Sara so I claim her now (and there isn't much she can do about it) But she plays the funnest game called friday confession-- seriously who doesn't want to dish it out-- so I thought I would try it out.
I confess...
-I have started a diet about 12 times in the last three weeks
-I have failed every attempt
-Seriously how would my children survive if they didn't have chocolate to calm me down, or Dr Pepper
-How do skinny people do it
-You would think having no clothes would motivate me
-It doesn't!!
-Why would I want to leave the house with 4 kids, it's chaos
-So I complain about my plumpy
-I have a theory that I would be really hot if I could just twist the fat and place it on my bum, tada no fat and some junk in the trunk,Rock Star
-So I have become a crazy insecure person
-Ok become is giving pre pregnant me a little too much credit.
-But I am starting a diet again on Monday
-Here's hoping this one sticks :)

Andrew's a first grader
Andrew started the first grade this year (holy cow time is speeding by) and like the rock star I am I don't have a whole lot of pictures (in my defense it was basically the first time I had to leave my house with 4 kids and I had to have everyone ready cause we had to all get out of the car and walk around to show Andrew where to line up that I was a bit overwhelmed before I realized I hadn't taken one picture) So here are few of him lining up to head in for his first day.
Berkelees first day of school
Berkelee is in her second year at Miss Angies and she loves it. We are learning the sounds of letters and counting to 100. She always says mom I can count to 100 and then around 37 ask whats after that oh ya quite a few times and she is quite the letter detective (Miss Angie sent home a kit and she finds letters and draws a picture of what starts with it then we talk about the sounds it makes) she is just too cute.
The Zoo
On labor day we took our kids too the zoo (where we learned two important lessons 1. don't take your kids to the zoo on a major holiday cause everyone else is too 2. Four kids might be too many kids to take to the zoo) but they had fun and everyone took a great nap afterwards. Sarah helped me take a couple pictures cause my hand are always full so I thought I would share
Our fun new feature
Like I said before I got a fabulously fun new camera and it takes video (bonus) so I ttok some cute videos of the first day back at dance for Miss Berkelee. Oh and don't worry I did it through the double mirror so you can see all sorts of wonderful reflections that make it more fun.
Andrew's Karate
Andrew dancing at school
Andrews teacher sent me this clip the other day and I must say I was so proud of him. He isn't usually one to step up and dance or sing, so I thought I would share. Enjoy
